End-Off Transfer Shiplift

The End-Off Transfer Shiplift System is the most widely utilized throughout the world today, accounting for more than 85% of all active shiplifts currently in operation.

This method of Transfer allows the operator to transfer directly off the end of the platform, with no restrictions on cradle type or height, as well as allows hoists to be mounted at any elevation to meet any tidal restrictions. Most recently, this type of system was installed by Pearlson for PENTA Ocean Construction, Savannah Yacht Center, RMK Merrill-Stevens, Lung Teh Shipbuilding and for Ba Son Shipyard (Vietnamese Ministry of Defense).

Direct Side Transfer (One-Side) Shiplift

The Direct Side Transfer (One-Side) Shiplift System has been utilized at multiple sites around the World in order to meet customer demands and requirements

This method of Transfer allows customers to lift / launch vessels parallel to the shipyard or bulkhead. This method is often used in restricted waterways such as within ports, rivers, or intercoastal waterways. Most recently, this type of system was installed by Pearlson for the Qatar Free Zone Authority (QFZA) in Doha, Qatar.

This method of Transfer allows customers to lift / launch vessels off either side of the shiplift platform and as shown in the photo, from the end of the platform. Most recently, this type of system was installed by Pearlson for Marina Barcelona 92 (MB92), in Barcelona, Spain.
